keeping neighbors safe at home
Starting after our first year in Reno.
Home repairs are personal. When the heat stops working or the hot water goes out, it isn’t just a mechanical problem. It decides whether a family can safely stay in their home. We don’t ask how anyone got there. A family without heat needs heat.
There are already good programs out there. But when something breaks, evengate. is already in the conversation. We work with the contractors who can fix it and the local groups who know who needs help. We’re in a position to help, so we’re building Neighbor-to-Neighbor in from the start.
Here’s the idea. When you pay for a job on evengate., you’ll be able to round up or add a few dollars. Enough of those fixes a neighbor’s furnace. And no one has to put their story on display to get help.
evengate. is a business, and we plan to run it like one. But we live here too.
Contact us about becoming a referral partner.
Neighbor-to-Neighbor is not taking referrals or contributions yet. At launch it covers critical HVAC and plumbing repairs on owner occupied primary homes, through approved referral partners only. Contributions go into one shared fund. Contributors don’t choose who gets help or which repairs are funded. evengate. approves every repair. Contributions are not tax deductible. We can’t promise funding, timing, or contractor availability for any request.
